GMB Trim/List Indication system has
been designed as cost effective, rigid against shagging or hogging
of ship, and GMB has a long and successful history of Trim/List
Indication system for the LNGC.
For calculating amount of cargo link LNG, the trim List indicator
System is measuring the ship's incline. So, it is required much
more highly accuracy. GMB Trim/List Indication system is installed
the sensor at gravity center of ship. The gravity center of
ship is well known the effect of sagging and hogging is very
low.
The type of this inclinometer is Accelerometer type sensor.
The Trim/List Indicator Sensor is servo type which is an accelerometer
used in the earth gravity field(¡¾1g).
This instrument consists of an inertial mass pendulum which
is:
- Rotating around a torsion bar
- Servo controlled in position by means of an inductive torque,
whose current is proportional to the applied acceleration.
The position sensor is optical. For small angles, the measured
acceleration can be considered as equal to the angle; it is
necessary to make an ArcSin conversion to determine the angle
of tilt for wider ranges. This technology allows to get very
sensitive inclinometers(<0.5 angle sec) without Hysteresis.
With 1X 10-4 FSO accuracy and an important dynamic.
Trim/List Indicator System is interfaced
with IAS, CTS and Analog Indicator located CCR and Wheel House
with 4~20mA Signal.
GMB Trim/List Indicator has two types of sensor for hazardous
area application, one is normal type sensor used to Zone 1 area
the other is intrinsically safety type sensor used to Zone 0.
