POINT LEVEL DETETION
Capacitance : GMB Point Level Detection devices use a unique inverse frequency-based approach to capacitance technology that provides accurate, reliable and repeatable measurement even in dusty, turbulent and vaporous environments or in situations with product build-up. Because even a small level change creates a large change in frequency, our instruments provide better resolution and consistently outperform conventional devices.
GMB offers a comprehensive selection of switches ranging from compact general level detection to level and interface detection in extreme process conditions.

 Process Gas Chromatographs Micro-Sam

  • SIMATIC PDM is a cross-vendor tool for the configuration, parameterization, commissioning and diagnosis of intelligent field devices based on the leading international EDD (Electronic Device Description; IEC 6/804-2) standard. The following core functions allow to keep all devices and processes utilized in process automation under control

    Communication with process devices is via the HART protocol, PROFIBUS or other protocols.
    HART-Field Communications Protocol
    HART-Field Communications Protocol standard for field devices. HART devices are specified by the HCF (HART Communication Foundation). The HART standard expands the analog 4-20mA signal into a modulated, industry-standard digital HART signal.
    The advantage is the combination of field tested analog measured-value transmission and simultaneous digital communication with bi-directional, acyclic transmission, making it possible to transfer oiagnostic, maintenance and process information from field devices to higher-level systems. Standardized sets of parameters can be used for cross-vendor operation of all HART devices. HART Device Descriptions (EED) are used to integrate HART devices in SIMATIC PDM, ensuring easy operation and commissioning of field devices even in hard-to-reach locations.
